Business Project Manager

job summary:

The role of the Business Project Manager is to coordinate, facilitate, and negoiate projects for EBR, system deployments, changes to existing business system enhancement and changes to assure customer expectations are met. In this role, the Business Project Manager interfaces with site customers, site support organizations (i.e. Package Design and Development, Packaging Engineering, QO, Business and Technical Project Managers, Customer Service, Production Activity Control Professionals, Finance, etc.) and external customers. They are responsible for the planning and execution of their assigned projects, timelines and other project specific deliverables within the scope of the project. responsibilities:

Functional/Technical Knowledge: strong project management and organizational skills in a multi-disciplinary environment. Knowledge of basic leadership principles. Focus is on leading/overseeing defined processes.

Problem Solving and Innovation: Provide solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance. Operates within established HR policies and basic colleague relations guidelines.

Discretion, Latitude, Level of Independence: Works under general supervision. Follows established procedures. Recommends actions. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.

Impact and Organizational Contribution: Contributes to the completion of specific team objectives and assigned project milestones. Failure to achieve results may cause delays in completion of site objectives and delays in delivering products.

Teamwork/Influence: Primarily internal company contacts. Cross-functional and outside customer contacts on a limited basis. May represent department on specific site projects. May assist in training less experienced team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• BA/BS with 2+ yrs experience

• Associates Degree with 7+ yrs experience

• High School Diploma with 10+ years' experience

• Demonstrated experience in a project management capacity is desirable.

• Experience with manufacturing (Injectables and/or non-sterile liquids/semi-solid and packaging pharmaceuticals) is required.

• Need to be technically competent to understand ERP/MES and with various software programs, such as MS Office, Visio, etc.

• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through problem-solving capabilities

• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently

• Flexible during times of change

• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating

• Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise

• strong written and oral communication skills

• Customer service skills desirable
