Summary:

The Senior IT Analyst – reports directly to an IT Manager and is responsible for the support, maintenance, and installation of hardware/software at remote offices. The Senior IT Analyst has experience providing technical assistance by diagnosing and troubleshooting a full range of IT-related issues including software, hardware, and networking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain, support, and troubleshoot network devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, faxes, switches, routers, modems, patch panels, wiring, etc.

  • Provide timely support assisting end users with software and hardware issues.

  • Respond to emails, calls, and tickets from users regarding company issued devices.

  • Install new equipment and remove old equipment.

  • Maintain IT standards by ensuring every office is set up with standard configuration and all components are functioning correctly. All networking equipment is present, neat, and operational.

  • Maintain appearance of computer equipment, wiring and networking components.

  • Help with equipment moves and relocation of IT equipment.

  • Assist with acquisitions of new properties.

  • Provide second level support/training to first level help desk.

  • This position requires day travel for onsite assistance when needed. Approximately 75% travel including covering properties located in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Pittsburgh, PA. Some overnight travel may occur.

Requirements and Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S. in IT-related discipline preferred) from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience providing support for both hardware and software issues

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows in an Azure environment

  • Experience with installation and configuration of network printers, scanners and devices

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be comfortable with travel to sites as needed.
