*About this Opportunity


As a Supply Management Associate Analyst, you'll support the entire Supply Management organization by providing data analysis and actionable performance management reports. You will handle general and confidential information while conducting activities that include providing or coordinating clerical and/or analytical support for normal business operations. You'll work on special projects and activities of moderate complexity. In conducting your activities, you will interact with cross-functional internal and external contacts to effectively deal with daily and project-related objectives.

  • Analyze data to ensure the effectiveness of ongoing projects and processes by establishing the most appropriate methodology for tracking, analyzing, and gathering data, proficiently using available technology such as spreadsheet and report writing software.

  • Create and distribute reports related to Procure-to-Pay (P2P), spend, quality, PPMs, and diversity metrics as requested/required.

  • Effectively and professionally interact with a variety of people (both internal and external) at multiple levels of the organization by demonstrating strong initiative and ownership to ensure results.

  • Handle multiple project and administrative tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, using a problem-solving approach to understand key issues, analyze data, and recommend options for solutions.

  • Bring forward ideas about ways to do things better, anticipate potential problem needs, and take appropriate action.

  • Manage and monitor the Additional Cost Order (ACO) process to ensure the timely processing of orders.

  • Manage the reconciliation process of open Maximo/LN POs through proactive interaction with key business partners and Accounts Payable personnel.

  • Manage the tooling purchase order process (purchase order issuance, payment tracking, and obsolescence).

  • Manage, monitor, and audit the Returnable Packaging Program to ensure the financial integrity of the process.

  • Perform team back-up support and additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

  • Provide administrative and project support for members of the extended team, including MySIGN meeting scheduling and facilitation and ordering supplies.

  • Provide daily inquiry response and problem resolution in support for the entire Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process (e.g., supplier set up, requisition, purchase order, receipt, pricing maintenance, invoice fallout reconciliation, etc.) as required to achieve business objectives.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Finance, Engineering, or Operations Management, or equivalent experience.

  • Three to five years of relevant supplier development business experience.

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to resolve routine and complex inquires with the highest level of customer service.

  • A demonstrated ability to effectively use the office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the Herman Miller office environment.

  • The ability to be disciplined, analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.

  • The ability to be self-motivated and to complete tasks with little direct supervision.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to take direction from multiple individuals and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • A demonstrated ability to work and act as a team player.

  • An ability and willingness to travel locally up to 5 percent of the time.

  • The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
