About the Open Position:

GHSP, a global organization, is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Headquarters team in Holland, Michigan.

This position is responsible for development and support of the financial and sales forecasting process at GHSP, tracking and reporting on trends, providing business intelligence solutions for decision making, and developing and maintaining the systems and tools supporting these functions. This position reports to the Director of Financial Planing & Analysis and works closely with the sales and business teams. The role requires communication at all levels of the organization, designing, conducting, interpreting, and presenting qualitative and quantitative analysis critical to our business.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Play a Critical Role in the Forecasting Process

Identify and synthesize disaggregated internal and external data to inform the forecast process. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient processes to obtain forecast inputs. Works closely with various business areas on forecast inputs and assumptions. Maintain ownership of key components of the forecast process. Develop, track and report on key deliverables and milestones.

Ad Hoc Strategic Analysis

Perform a variety of business and financial analyses to support strategic decision making. Partner with various areas of the organization to gather data, learn business processes, and collaborate on recommendations. Develop and implement methodologies for completing similar analyses.

Tracking and Reporting On Trends & Providing Insights

Aggregate and synthesize data to identify trends in performance. Summarize data and deliver to key leaders to inform business decisions. Work closely with various departments to identify analysis and reporting needs. Provide concise, informative business analysis and recommendations to the organization. Develop standard reporting that answers key business questions.

Develop and Maintain Systems & Tools

Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency of processes and quality of inputs and outputs, research solutions, and provide recommendations. Maintain internal databases, Implement and maintain processes that ensure data integrity.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.

7+ years of experience in financial analysis.
