Dematic Product Trainer in Holland, Michigan

  • Manage and execute a global “Train-the-Trainer” concept to enable KION’s Operating Units Sales & Service as well as the Product Management teams showing strong intercultural leadership and willingness to do international travel (30%)

  • Ensure a fast and efficient knowledge transfer of new products/solutions, functionalities and features towards OU Sales and Product Management

  • Lead team of training specialists that facilitate customer implementation and adoption of all systems and services

  • Own and manage at least 1- 2 moderate to complex partner training product development projects every year, from ideation to launch

  • Manage development and maintenance of all training curriculum(s) and supporting tools and documents

  • Support the entire product life cycle from product planning to tactical activities

  • Think strategically with a product portfolio mindset and prioritize highest impact training intake requests that serve the needs of the partner ecosystem.

  • Cross-site leadership of project teams as part of the KION Mobile Automation Portfolio Strategy

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of department performance and project performance including co-design of the respective project specifications

  • Be active at customer and Operating Unit events to build a strong understanding of the customer’s needs and build strong relationships

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with a technical focus preferred

  • Leadership responsibility within cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams of a global matrix organization

  • High ability to think and act entrepreneurially considering risk and opportunity analysis to compile decision proposals

  • At least 3 years of relevant management experience with a distinct technical focus, preferably within Mobile Automation and Automated Material Handling Solutions

  • Experienced within global project business and execution

  • Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, such as communication and analytical skills and the ability to lead a global high performing team

  • Willingness to go the extra mile to anticipate, understand and respond to customer’s needs
