In this role, you will define and implement complex system requirements through project teams. Technical responsibility for system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves project deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions.

This is an outstanding opportunity to

Contribute in an important way to Assist the web application development team to facilitate the company digital initiatives through the building, enhancement, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Cloud service and infrastructure

Your responsibilities at will include:

  • Maintain a customer-focused environment for the fielding, prioritization and routing of the incoming call tickets.

  • Effective skills of identifying, reproducing, documenting and resolution of software/system/process problems as they arise. Adherence to coding and software standard practices in place; with ability to recognize and recommend improvements to the standards.

  • Understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects – from project definition to implementation and sustainment (and continuously working to identify and remove waste in the process).

  • Active structured software development skill in .Net languages (c#, .Net Core, Razor Pages), JavaScript, AJAX, MS SQL, MySQL, Aurora

  • Assist in training and support of the users of cloud applications implemented by the team.

  • Maintain accessible and useful documentation for web services and cloud applications.

  • Assist in maintaining, tuning and monitoring company cloud environments for performance and security; advise the appropriate parties of any potential liabilities or failures.

  • Follow and take role in refining standards for X-Rite in developing and implementing cloud applications data access/update methods. Work with team in developing specifications for new cloud applications or functionality in cloud services.

  • Recommend changes to the systems or procedures to improve the quality of our web services.

  • Maintain web visitor/customer privacy & security while using web applications.

  • Aid the other teams in the IT department as required Job functions include but are not limited to those listed.

  • Understanding of Node.js a plus.

  • Cloud technology certifications a plus.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:

  • High School degree/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant cloud development in AWS and/or Azure experience required.

  • SDLC

  • .Net/.Net Core programming architecture.

  • Desired database experience with AWS RDS, NoSQL. High-level understanding of cloud tool sets and architecture.

  • Understanding/experience in agile/waterfall development methodologies.

  • Proven communication skills (both verbal and written) to deal effectively with a variety of people (both technical and non-technical).
