OtterBase Technical Support Representative - Remote Work in Grand Rapids, Michigan

*This is a 100% remote position. Equipment will be provided.*OVERVIEWResponsible for handling front line inbound telephone calls and written or internet-based inquires from customers. Based on skill level demonstrated, the Technical Support Representative could also be trained to support additional .and.lsquo;specialty' products. Support includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging, and complex software installations.JOB DESCRIPTIONDelivers professional and top quality customer service to all customers while performing within departmental call duration targetsProvides technical support to internal and external clients, including but not limited to field engineers, technicians, clients, sales, trainers and install specialistsTroubleshoots and resolves issues related to softwareCommunicates issues clearly and effectively to clientsDocuments all customer interactions consistently, thoroughly and free of grammatical errorsContributes to internal knowledgebase.and.nbsp;EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Degree or equivalent requiredCollege or technical degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred1-2 years customer service experience in a call center environment1-2 years or help desk or technical support experience preferred.and.nbsp;REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge of Windows Operating systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to install and troubleshoot softwareAbility to install and configure softwareExcellent written and oral communication skills
