SQL Data Analyst- Applied Technology - TaxReq #: 17301_2Location: Grand Rapids, MIJob Category: Applied TechnologyJob SummaryCrowe is looking for a SQL Data Analyst for our Applied Technology - TAX delivery/business unit. The role involves two major focus areas: First, is data analysis, which entails interpreting complex data requests, retrieving the data utilizing T-SQL, visualizing the data in a way that makes sense for each request, and helping the stakeholders utilize the data. Second, is SQL development, including proactively looking at our various servers/databases to identify scalability and performance issues. Qualifications•2+ years of T-SQL Experience (stored procedures, views and/or functions).•2+ years of SQL Server Experience (development, administration, and/or architecture).•Experience with Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, Cognos. (Required - at least one, in order of decreasing preference)•Strong analytical skills.•A strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to step back and see the big picture.•Works well collaborating with others.•Experience with the direct support cooperation with the applications end users and business teams.•Experience with financial and accounting data.About the Team:Applied Technology professionals at Crowe lead the software development efforts for the firm and build technology solutions in a consistent and reliable way.
