KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director to join ourpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution architecture and design for cloud native, integrated systems and products as managed service offerings

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Development and Portfolio managers to architect fit for purpose solutions that enable a high degree of re-use of new/existing components

  • Provide technical knowledge to evaluate solutions, products, platforms to enable new business, service offering development activities

  • Develop design patterns, implementation approaches fine and document standards, frameworks and reference architectures

  • Evaluate technologies and relevant fit in established and/or new design patterns, including developing Prototypes/Proof of Concepts to enable go-to market solutions

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of IT experience across the various facets of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with specific focus in technical solution architecture, system design, development and implementation

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Hands-on experience leading the architecture and design of solutions at scale, integrating custom software with platform and cloud (Azure, AWS) native services and capabilities

  • Experience with Open Source platforms/technologies, SOA, n-tier applications and traditional/no-SQL databases

  • Prior development experience with at least one of J2EE, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful), Spring, Web 2.0 Ajax/JSON

  • Ability to travel as necessary
