We are seeking a Product Manager - Security Services to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Product Manager is responsible for leading new product development for the organization. This position is accountable for establishing project scope, formulating and managing development timelines, doing market research and leading organizational product education through a strong business and technical understanding of the US Signal product portfolio.


  • Represent the company at trade shows for product support

  • Subject Matter Expert for championed products and services in the security space

  • Be a leader in business case creation for new products through industry research and VOC (voice of the customer)

  • Conceptualize, lead and prioritize multiple concurrent projects

  • Interface and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure specifications and milestones are met for on-time product launches

  • Work directly with R&D in order to align technical solutions and product specifications

  • Lead meetings to drive cohesiveness, productivity and complete organizational product integration

  • Assist with product pricing, positioning, packaging and selling strategies

  • Form business rules for new products and assist with subsequent support material (Business Support Systems, contracts, marketing)

  • Organize and participate in internal testing of new products to ensure specifications are met

  • Create new product documentation and training material

  • Report development analysis and status to leadership

  • Assist with the solution design and business integration of custom services

  • Be viewed as an internal and external product evangelist

  • Guide marketing to ensure release communication, web site updates, PR and lead generation activities have solid product positioning and information

  • Manage and maintain 3rd party vendor relationships

  • Perform other tasks as directed by the EVP of Product and Services

Required Experience:


  • Technical knowledge of security concepts and frameworks including an understanding of: Preventative Security Controls, Detection Security Controls, Security Assessment Methods and Security Operations and Incident Response Concepts

  • Familiarity with the OEM competitive landscape relevant to the above security frameworks

  • Awareness of HIPAA, PCI and other compliance and regulatory impacts to products and services

  • Ability to articulate technical concepts in a way that others can understand and reproduce

  • Tech savvy with a desire to stay on top of industry trends

  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, can-do approach, curious and open-minded

  • Actions guided by a customer-first mentality

  • Understanding of the service provider industry relative to cloud services

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong project management, analytical and diplomatic skills

  • Works well with deadlines, under pressure

  • Solid organization and multi-tasking ability

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and accuracy


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.


  • Cyber Security background and experience

  • 2-3+ years experience as a Product Manager

  • Experience with product lifecycles and launches

  • Experience in a service provider environment is preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position operates in a variety of environments. The majority of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Required License(s)/Certification(s):

Valid, active driver’s license with a good driving record as defined by the Company’s current insurance provider.
