Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our KPMG Spectrum practice.
Responsibilities:
Develop Mobilization & Transition (M&T) plan including scope of activities, schedule and resources needed
Manage client expectations by providing regular updates on progress made against the defined scope
Coordinate and drive conference room pilots to gather client specific requirements
Manage M&T resources through client configuration, data migration, integration development, internal testing and communication of results to the clients
Oversee change through change control process and prevent scope creep and coordinate UAT activities with the client users
Work closely with delivery lead to operationalize Business as Usual (BAU) activities and Service Desk for the client
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience in client implementations of D365 Finance & Operation (F&O)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or other quantitative discipline with specialization from an accredited college or university
Strong understanding of D365 Finance and Operations as well as experience in configuring D365 F&O, data migration and integration setup and developing task recordings
Working knowledge of setup for GL Shared, Workflow, General Ledger, Bank, Accounts Payable, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales and Marketing, Project Accounting; knowledge of F&O data entries related to setup of all financials modules listed above
Knowledge and experience managing Microsoft Platform Updates, merging custom code, testing, deploying plus experience in managing projects using Azure DevOps
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with clients at multiple levels as well as ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as necessary
