KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join ourpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful development using Agile and DevOps methodologies of complex systems and solutions

  • Lead the entire development life cycle with software engineering best practices, including setting coding standards, perform code reviews, running SCRUMs with JIRA knowledge, source control management (Git and Sourcetree), configure continuous integration and continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, Nexus, and Docker)

  • Gain an understanding of existing codebases and systems for the full stack and develop code as needed to support products and solutions, technologies include: Cloud native IaaS and PaaS (Azure, AWS), Web UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc. using CLI, grunt, and web pack), API definition (RAML, Swagger, JSON), Backend (Java Databases), Integrations (ESB and legacy system integration)

  • Help architect new applications by evaluating technologies and working with solution architects and product managers

  • Oversee documentation to ensure the development team are efficient and affective (technical details, setup info, standards, and environments)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in leading enterprise level software development using agile scrum

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university

  • Deep understanding of Full Stack development, including modern UI and backend coding fundamentals (JavaScript core best practices, object oriented design, data structures, API design, and complex problem solving)

  • Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework (Angular2/4 and ReactJs) and backend / API RESTful service (Java w/ SpringMVC), Cloud native solutions using Azure and AWS, DevOps tooling platforms (Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, or similar)

  • Ability to engage, mentor and lead technical teams (on/off shore) including a variety of technical developers

  • Ability to travel as necessary
