Financial Reporting Analyst Robert Half has a great opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst at a growing firm located in Downtown Grand Rapids. The Financial Reporting Analyst must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. This position will also require well-developed interpersonal skills that facilitate tactful interaction with senior-level management and departmental staff. As the Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for compliance and reporting to support all reporting initiatives throughout the organization assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly performance materials, compliance, and marketing materials. This role will also be charged with developing expertise and understanding of the company's interests, investment strategy, valuation methodology, and the company's portfolio management and reporting system to ensure the integrity of reporting data and investment performance metrics. Maintain financial systems and reporting as required by the bank and lines of business to support strategic decision making. ? Produce and distribute standard financial and performance measurement reports in a timely and accurate fashion. ? Provide data integrity checks, review reports for accuracy and make appropriate recommendations for changes. ? Meet delivery timelines and ensure financial information is reported completely and accurately. ? Utilize technology to allocate specific income and expenses to the lines of business on a recurring basis. ? Strive to master proficiency in the utilization and application of various software tools of the bank. ? Optimize the use of new technology and information systems updates to improve processes and system efficiencies. ? Identify data sources, construct data flow diagrams, and document the process on routine changes.
