Business Systems Manager (586024) - 117227DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Job SummaryBusiness Analyst Manager will be responsible for managing product development/release cycles for existing products and helping envision new products for the orthopedic market. The ideal candidate thinks like a product manager but acts like an engineer; translating a product vision into detailed requirements that are clearly implementable by the software engineering team. May lead direct or indirect teams of people through the product development process.Principal Duties and Responsibilities* Manage the product design/development process based on roadmaps - from requirements generation, through build, testing, and validation. Specifically creating user software requirements so that they fulfill the demands of a formal quality management system (QMS) and be traceable across the application lifecycle.* Envision create products which are consumed on the web, on mobile devices, and on wearables. Leverage the interaction methods and real-time feedback possibilities of these devices into designs that transform the marketplace.* Drive a FDA quality system development culture and support it across the product lifecycle; rolling up your sleeves to document where necessary and mentor where appropriate.* Incorporate relational database concepts, client-server concepts, and cloud hosting concepts into designs; craft business solutions leveraging best practices from these.Expected Areas of Competence* Work across boundaries both geographic and functional to participate with and help knit together a large team of software medical device professionals.* Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands and competing viewpoints.* Attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.* Flexibility with short term priorities while keeping project scope and timeline in mind.
