These camera- and radar-based technologies assist drivers by providing information and acting on environmental data at the front, side and rear of vehicles to help warn drivers of impending danger. They can also provide intuitive cues or actions such as braking and steering inputs to help “coach” the driver to stay in lane or offer convenience functions like Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking (CMB), Following Distance Indication (FDI), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Centering Assist (LCA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and Surround View - 360 degree Bird's Eye View with 3D image perspective and integrated safety.

Utilize engineering disciplines including Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA to develop robust design solutions.
Understand and demonstrate a working knowledge of product designs, components and process technologies fundamental to advanced vision systems.
Generate concise and effective analyses, reports and presentations for both internal and customer focused discussions and reviews.
Analysis of sensor and system performance.
Develop system/component test plans and processes.
Lead/support the design and development of hardware schematics, BOMs & layouts.
Lead/support supplier discussions.
Participate in customer reviews and discussions.
Develop test instrumentation and/or support hardware.
ECU and system hardware design.
Circuit design and analysis.
Interface controls document creation.
Understand automotive customer requirements, project milestones, technology relevance and capability.
Generate project timelines and execute plan to established milestones.
Understand system level requirements driving cost capable component level designs.
Component/System validation test definition and support.
7+ years of electrical engineering and design experience.
Demonstrated working knowledge of design tools and methods for high speed HDI designs.
Knowledge of packaging electronics, vision systems or optical sensors.
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Strong Microsoft suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Experience/knowledge of optical systems is desired.
Basic knowledge of CMOS sensors and Lenses is desired.
Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of the cross-functional teams.
Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
Possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
Highly motivated and disciplined in time management.
Design knowledge of high speed digital & analog electronic components and circuits.
CMOS image sensor, DSP, DDR experience required. FPGA experience desired.
Experience generating and interpreting worst case analysis.
Capability to use lab tools, equipment and techniques to verify circuit operation.
Knowledge of ASIC analog/digital design.
Knowledge of simulation tools (Hyperlynx) and measurement techniques for DDR.
