Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasksand tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree.Essential DutiesWith project sponsors, define and document scope and objectives. Develop Microsoft Project*plans, with milestones, dependencies, deliverables, schedules and tasks for assigned complex*projects or program.*Manage and track vendor tasks and deliverables and integrate the tasks into the overall project plan.*Assemble project team, assign responsibilities to participants and determine other resources required.*Develop, document and ensure adherence to standardized processes and project reporting methodologies.*Facilitate project team meetings, including vendor representatives, ensure agendas and meeting minutes are documented. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.*Assign detailed work plans to team members and track to project plan. Track and analyze actual expenditures to budget*Single point of contact for status of project. Provide regular status reports to project sponsors and escalates issues, risks, resource requirements and changes to project scope appropriately*Mentor and provide guidance to Project Manager I and IIStandard Requirements*Bachelor degree*5+ years experience in IT Project Management (Healthcare experience is a plus)*PMP (Six Sigma or ITIL is a plus)Bachelor Degree (Related Field is a plus)*Excellent analytical and organizational skills*Ability to work effectively managing cross-functional teams*Excellent oral and written communication skills*Experience with MS Project SharePoint (O-365 is a plus*Strong understand of business process and technologyBeaumont Health is an equal opportunity employer.
