Job Description

Our dynamic engineering team is working hard to develop, hardware, software, and calibrations for diesel and gasoline engine controls for motorcycle, off-road, and other non-automotive powersports applications.

Manage the development of engine controller software and hardware, customer interface, requirements analysis, and quotations. Manage software and hardware sub-project managers. Release development projects “on-time”, “on-budget”, “on spec. / quality”, and “on profit”. Collaborate and coordinate with the global Bosch development team.

Primary Tasks:

  • Manage sub-projects and assigned project team members

  • Coordinate internal team meetings to discuss technical open items

  • Coordinate external team meetings with customers to discuss technical open items

  • Assists in the development of customer Engine Management quotations

  • Integration Management

  • Requirement management and change management

  • Schedule, cost management

  • Technical guidance to the sub-project managers

  • Define and assess project targets of the direct assigned project team members

  • Directly report project status in project review meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EE, ME, or Computer Science

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems

  • 3+ years project management experience (including processes, methods and tools)

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding of embedded software design, development, and testing processes (V-Diagram)

  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines, associated electronic components and vehicle controls.

  • Understand of fundamental concepts including A/D conversion, digital input/output, CAN serial communication.

  • Enjoy working in a team environment.
