We are looking for a new colleague in the ADAS Engineering Department at our location in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage ZF’s Safety Process for ADAS camera and SDE projects.

• Perform safety related analysis, derive and specify safety requirements and safety concepts

• Support project team in preparing work packages as required following the safety lifecycle with respect to Systems, SW and HW engineering

• Collaborate with the design team in the design of effective technical solutions aimed to achieve adequate robustness at System, HW and SW architectural level

• Establish functional safety and corresponding processes within projects and business unit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline

• Experience with ISO-26262 standard

• Experiences in Embedded Systems Design and Systems, SW or HW Engineering

• Understanding of V-Model and convinced attitude for requirements-based development and its application in automotive industry

• Experiences in (safety) analyses like Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), FMEA, FTA and similar

• Experiences in automotive development cycles and processes.

• 5+ years of automotive experience

• Strong time management skills.

• Excellent communication/networking skills.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Fluent in English

• Ability to travel internationally

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline (preferred)

• SW Development Experience (preferred)
