MiHIN Enterprise Operations Coordinator in East Lansing (remote temporarily), Michigan

Position Purpose

The Enterprise Operations Coordinator supports Enterprise Operations Specialists and Analysts in coordinating and analyzing operational performance and quality delivery across the organization through definition, maintenance, measurement, and adherence to MiHIN enterprise work processes. This position performs regular reporting, monitoring, follow up and coordination of the status of all tickets from internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely responsiveness to break/fix and other requests for service within Service Level Agreements and target fulfillment times. The Enterprise Operations Coordinator seeks out opportunities to optimize workflows, processes, and tools to continuously improve the delivery of MiHIN Shared Services.

This is a full-time position (remote temporarily) where days and hours can vary Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 8:00PM.

Duties and responsibilities

Primary job duties and responsibilities:

Under the mentoring of the Enterprise Operations Specialist or Analyst, this position provides support to:

  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional internal and external communications to define, optimize, maintain and ensure compliance to enterprise work processes

  • Create, generate, and analyze operational reports to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and monitor corrective action implementation plans

  • Mentors and reviews work of Enterprise Operations Interns

  • Ensure timely and effective execution of all assignments

  • Use of multiple applications to complete daily job duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Required qualifications:

  • Associates degree and or pursuing Bachelor?s in Technology, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of health information management or demonstrated knowledge of analysis methodology

  • Experience or knowledge of health information technology, including, but not limited to, electronic health records (EHRs), patient care flow, and hospital computer systems

  • Demonstrated prioritization and work planning experience

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Expert interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Track record of being a self-starter and problem solving

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of high tech, public sector, and/or healthcare industries

  • Knowledge of large scale health information technology operations
