The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) invites applications from outstanding candidates for a fixed term research associate position in the areas of machine learning and computer vision. The successful candidate will be supervised by Prof. Vishnu Boddeti (CSE). The duties include (but are not limited to):
Development of image processing algorithms
Development of machine learning algorithms with privacy constraints
Implement and optimization of resulting algorithms and software.
Doctorate -Computer Science; Computational Chemistr
Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields. Graduate or postdoctoral experience in computer vision, machine learning, image processing or signal processing and scientific software development.
The ideal candidate should have,
Strong programming skills using C/C++ and Python.
Prior experience with MPI and CUDA programming, as well as performance optimization.
Ability to work with undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative environment.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
