Position Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for one or more large volume global programs. Manages and leads product launch and/or development projects for complex programs with a moderate level of parts/variants.
Assure the overall management of Projects up to the completion of the start of series production while taking into account commercial & technical aspects, policies and deadlines
Elaborate a project plan in alignment with the strategic goals of the Projects and perform cross-departmental planning for all functions involved to meet the project targets and requirements
Prepare and handle project documentation, contract design & budget planning
Pursue the improvement of ROCE and Operative Earnings for the project and continuously consider the project budget while assuring compliance with company processes and standards
Cooperate closely with customers, contributing technical expertise, and discuss and agree on project-related matters
Lead cross functional team internally and in front of the customer to guarantee the project deliverables and project milestones
Organize and prepare for meetings, presentations & Gate releases
Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives.
B.S. in Engineering, or Management with additional technical qualification
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
10+ years of experience within a product development and/or chassis system or actuator manufacturing environment (6+ years of project management experience preferred)
Proven organizational and project management abilities
Proven leadership ability and experience with coaching, mentoring, motivation, and conflict management
IATF16949 awareness training (preferred)
German and/or Spanish language skills (preferred)
