Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer science or information technology or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in workstation or server administration

  • 1 year of experience in systems engineering

  • Scripting language knowledge (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc)

  • Experience working with IIS

  • Experience working in Active Directory

  • Experience working with Docker

  • Experience working with Public Clouds (AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure)

  • Windows and Linux server administration knowledge

  • Understanding of Core Network Principles (SAN/LAN)

Job Summary

The Windows Systems Engineer is responsible for building and integrating on-premises server and cloud infrastructure as well as ensuring the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.


  • Deploy and create infrastructure as code to public clouds using Terraform

  • Install, support, configure and troubleshoot mission critical systems and applications

  • Configure servers with configuration management tools like Ansible and Puppet

  • Partner with developers and clients to develop solutions using the technologies available

  • Create automation solutions for the most common tasks

  • Administer server backup and recovery

  • Understand business processes and identify opportunities for technology value creation

  • Create, configure and support Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

  • Participate in an on-call rotation
