OtterBase Technical Support Representative-100% Remote in Detroit, Michigan

Equipment will be provided.*/emOVERVIEWResponsible for handling front line inbound telephone calls and written or internet-based inquires from customers. Based on skill level demonstrated, the Technical Support Representative could also be trained to support additional lsquo;specialtyrsquo; products. Support includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging, and complex software installations.JOB DESCRIPTIONulliDelivers professional and top quality customer service to all customers while performing within departmental call duration targets/liliProvides technical support to internal and external clients, including but not limited to field engineers, technicians, clients, sales, trainers and install specialists/liliTroubleshoots and resolves issues related to software/liliCommunicates issues clearly and effectively to clients/liliDocuments all customer interactions consistently, thoroughly and free of grammatical errors/liliContributes to internal knowledgebase/li/ulEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEulliHigh School Degree or equivalent required/liliCollege or technical degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred/lili1-2 years customer service experience in a call center environment/lili1-2 years or help desk or technical support experience preferred/li/ulREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESulliKnowledge of Windows Operating systems/liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office Products/liliAbility to install and troubleshoot software/liliAbility to install and configure software/liliExcellent written and oral communication skills/li/ul
