Henry Ford Health System Supplier Relation Mgmt Analyst Full Time in Detroit, Michigan

Under supervision of Director, Supplier Relationship Management, according to established policies and procedures, is responsible for analysis of data and information related to all suppliers, including: product warranty & claims; vendor master cleansing & maintenance; and vendor onboarding.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred, or 5-10 years of work experience in a hospital or health care supply chain management environment.

  • One to three years progressively experience in professional level analytical role; healthcare and supply chain management experience preferred.

  • Analytical ability to gather and interpret data from a variety of sources, as well as manage multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.

  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with health system personnel and vendors.

  • Composition and computer skills to translate data into comprehensive, meaningful reports using word-processing and spreadsheet software.

  • Must possess ability to work confidentially with discretion and forethought.

  • Must be able to remain calm and composed during confrontational situations.
