SharePoint AdministratorIn this important role in AlixPartners" Corporate Services IT team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health of MOSS 2007/2013/2016/SharePoint Online farms, site collections, building and maintaining sites. Candidate will demonstrate a clear understanding of designing solutions to meet customer demands and be willing to take ownership of problems and work with team members to deliver solutions in SharePoint that meet customer needs. Candidate may be required to evaluate and integrate third-party software in designing solutions.The SharePoint Administrator is a full-time role with a preferred location in Southfield, Michigan, reporting to the SharePoint team management. This position may be contract-to-hire. Paid relocation may be available.Key Responsibilities:•Administer MOSS 2007/2013/2016/SharePoint Online farms including applying service packs and hotfixes with strong proficiencies using•Central Administration•Windows Server (all versions)•IIS Manager•SQL•AD•Networking (Load Balancing) and DNS Entries•Analyze customer needs, document requirements and design/architecture SharePoint technical solutions.•Build solutions using custom or 3rd party web parts / apps, features, site definitions and package solutions.•Full understanding of InfoPath forms, workflows and use of SharePoint Designer to build solutions, Master pages, themes and CSS.•Identify, document, facilitate and maintain industry best practices based upon company policy from an administrator's perspective.•Create, maintain, support and monitor security permissions and schemas for SharePoint.Qualifications/Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in a related technical area (MCP/ MCSA) or equivalent hands-on experience.
