Description

Job Summary:

The primary role of the Senior Strategist – Process Automation is to interface with the Business Unit during the automation lifecycle, help identify automation candidates, evaluate candidates for automation feasibility, work with the Business Unit and relevant application Subject Matter Experts to refine candidates for streamlined automation, and ensure the progress of development while adhering to the Governance Model.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identifying and analyzing new process opportunities, and assessing automation feasibility

  • Analyzing, understanding, and documenting the business processes in detail

  • Designing process solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions

  • Creating and maintaining solution documentation

  • Problem solving issues that arise during development, and providing timely responses and solutions as required

  • Communicating any identified project risks and issues to the Process Automation team and Business Unit

  • Supporting the Business Unit during the User Acceptance Testing and rollout phases, which includes creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering and the knowledge/capabilities typically acquired through 5-plus years of job-relevant experience, inclusive of professional level business functions exhibiting a progressive work history.

  • Preferred: Master’s degree

  • Track record in the successful delivery and support of improving existing processes by using technical tools and software

  • Understanding of workflow based logic, and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution

  • Good communication and written skills, with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience

  • Knowledge of Process Automation software not a pre-requisite for this role, as training will be provided
