Position Description

The Senior Data/Systems Analyst serves has a high-level technical expert in the design, testing, support and debugging of new or existing software and/or vended products. The employee will collaborate with other team members and business partners to maintain and improve system/application performance and stability. The employee with support the strategic business and IT technical portfolio roadmaps.

Job Responsibilities

  • HR Ops & HR COE Business Coordination and Relationship Management

  • Project Management of supported workstream applications

  • Vendor Management - Partner with applicable vendor(s), COE, and/or HRBP's to implement and monitor existing and new initiatives

  • Disaster Recovery coordination

  • EAC Reviews of supported workstream applications

  • SOX Assessments of supported workstream applications

  • Security Exceptions / Security Acceptances management

  • Risk Assessments as applicable

  • Vulnerability Scanning of supported workstream applications

  • Incident / Problem Management

  • Uses technical analysis, knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems

  • Maintain and improve system/application performance and stability

  • Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information, and to build consensus regarding project direction

  • Interfaces and establishes vendor relationships for technical solutions

  • Support continuity of business and disaster recovery capabilities

  • Assures cross-functional team alignment for technical projects / requirements (Ex. Architecture, Enterprise Platform Delivery)

  • Actively participates, establishes, and owns technical direction for projects / releases

  • Performs sustain and operational support of all applications

  • Responsible for strategy, releases, and project as it pertains to workstream responsibility

  • Understand and apply business concepts to technical solutions through sound business analysis

  • Other duties as defined by management


  • BS and 5+ years' experience or equivalent

  • Thorough understanding of technical concepts

  • Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support

  • Ability to thoroughly understand the business client requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot when issues arise

  • Demonstrated business partner focus and relationship building

  • Demonstrated organizational ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.
