Join us!Procurement System Launch AnalystProcurement System Launch AnalystJob Responsibilities:•Full time member of the Oracle Release 12 (R12) project team - Procurement/SQE lead for Direct, Indirect purchasing and Supplier Quality processes•Global Procurement/SQE point of contact for Powertrain BU implementation, ensuring alignment between Powertrain and other Business Units•Functions as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Powertrain Procurement/SQE, working closely with the project leadership team•Contributes to the development of the envisioned solution, making project recommendations and timely decisions. Will be a key contributor to the successful deployment and adoption of the final solution.•Coordinates Procurement/SQE teams and activities as required to meet project plan objectives•Participates as cross-functional liaison - understanding full procure to pay and other cross-functional processes•Completes and/or coordinates user testing activities for the Procurement/SQE team. Testing includes corporate, business unit and plant activities.•Develops training materials and/or provides input and review for instructional designers, as required•Executes training to assist with project implementation. Educates others in the workflow, business processes and reporting metrics enabled by the ERP modules.•Reviews and revises procedures as processes are redefined•Represents Powertrain Procurement/SQE in each region, as part of the deployment team•Participates in project meetings as necessary•Ensures that lean initiatives are implemented in Procurement/SQE processes; participates in and provides leadership to lean activities•Develops the roadmap for process alignment between Corporate and AAM regionsJob Requirements:•Understanding of general procurement practices and the overall procure to pay process; including RFQ, PO, Terms Conditions as well as APQP, PPAP, PRR Supplier Scorecards•Proficient in Oracle or similar ERP system environment; Demonstrated knowledge of ERP principles and processes; ERP experience must include both direct and indirect procurement•Experience with Metal market calculations and settlements•Ability to translate regional practices into global processes•Ability to train others; Training development experience a plus•Strong interpersonal skills involving the ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally•Working knowledge of Lean fundamentals and how to apply to business processes•Advanced problem solving skills•Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills•Bachelor degree in Business/Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience•Proficient in MS Office; Flow charting and Visio experience a plus•Available after hours as required for support of all global regions•Ability to travel to domestic and international locations as needed.
