The ideal candidate will have strong writing, organization and communication skills, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Known internally as Legal Compliance Professional - Privacy and Data Protection, this role has a preferred location of Southfield, MI, reporting to Legal Counsel II - Privacy Data Protection. More information is available at.font class="bold"Key Responsibilities:/fontulliProvide support to Privacy and Data Protection Counsel in areas related to compliance with global privacy statutes and regulations including GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, HIPAA, HITECH, state privacy laws, and AlixPartners privacy policies and program/liliResearch, discover and document areas for on-going improvement across various components of the company/liliUnder the supervision of the Privacy and Data Protection Counsel:ulliRespond to client questionnaires and due diligence requests/liliReview contracts for consistency for preferred terms/liliExecute and document Privacy Impact Assessmentsand Risk Assessments for programs, processes and projects across the organization/liliIdentify privacy risks within new and existing projects./liliExecute and document Data Subject Requests/liliMonitor changes in the Privacy landscape and translate to actionable engineering/liliManage and process lost device tickets/liliDraft communications for internal use/li/ul/liliComplete other administrative tasks related to the execution of a Privacy Program (e.g. schedule stakeholder meetings, take meeting minutes, breach response participation, etc.)/liliBuild positive relationships with stakeholders across the broader organization./liliAdditional responsibilities as identified/li/ulfont class="bold"Qualifications/Requirements:/fontulli2+ years privacy, compliance, or paralegal experience/liliFamiliarity with at least one of the following data protection regulations and associated frameworks GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST frameworks, ISO frameworks, etc./liliTrack record of effectively working with data from multiple sources - willingness to dig-in and understand the data and to leverage creative thinking and problem-solving/liliMust be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment offering services to a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary organization negotiating for competing priorities and resources/liliExperience with Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Subject Requests is a plus/liliContract review experience is a plus/liliStrong initiative, self-driven to deliver results without daily supervision/liliWillingness to learn and strong collaboration skills/liliPrivacy certificationsem
