RGIS Mobile App Developer *REMOTE POSITION* in Detroit, Michigan

  • Collaboratively work with other engineers, QA,Business Analysts, team leads, and end users

  • Participates in research, design, anddevelopment of mobile apps

  • Solve interesting business problems throughtechnology and software

  • Tests newsoftware and systems to ensure that logic and syntax are correct and meetbusiness needs

  • Develop unittests for new code

  • Troubleshootand support production systems

  • Understandbusiness requirements and provide designs and software to meet businessexpectations

  • Participatein design and code reviews

  • Participatein project planning and consistently meet projected timelines


Experience and Knowledge Requirements

  • 3years of experience with Android development

  • 3years of experience with iOS development

  • Expertexperience with Xamarin, C#

  • Expertexperience with React.js and responsive design with HTML / CSS / JavaScript

  • Experiencewith SQLite

  • Experience in the development, performancetuning, and support of a complex application framework

  • Experience working with cloud native solutionsa plus

  • Unit Testing (NUnit, JUnit, or equivalent) anduse of the AAA pattern

  • Good understanding of source control using Git

  • Good understanding of release management andCI/CD using Jenkins a plus

  • Agile Methodology (Scrum)

  • Strong familiarity with common design patterns(Command, strategy, singleton, factory, etc.)

  • Expert knowledge of SOLID coding principles ofObject-Oriented Design

  • Demonstrate expert level of programming skilland independently analyze and identify comprehensive solutions

  • Highly motivated, self-starter who willinglyparticipates in all phases of the software development life cycle

  • Strong knowledge in designing physical andlogical databases using industry standard modeling tool is a plus

Educational Requirements


degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or related studies

desired. An equivalent combination of

experience and education may be considered.
