Must be a recently transitioned military veteran, military spouse, actively serving National Guard or Reservist
Understanding/knowledge of IT networking
Proficiency computer skills with advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Understanding of basic troubleshooting and PC/software-related problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Aptitude for identifying opportunities and taking appropriate action
Highly motivated and focused personality

The Security Support Specialist provides assistance and office support to the Security Technology team and other related areas of the business. Duties include processing phone calls, emails and service requests; participating in new hire orientation; providing basic IT support of security products; and software troubleshooting. This team member must have the ability to adapt to new projects and duties as assigned by the team leader.
Perform and oversee device programming and configuration
Make system modifications and changes
Perform daily enterprise system checks and status
Document issues within the system and take corrective action
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform system archives and backups
Develop, update and maintain systems components lists and inventories
Verify/validate system components and configurations
Handle mapping of security devices
