Maya, VRED, and AutoStudio Instructor
Design, develop, implement, and maintain current and future training materials and programs for the Global Design Organization. Develop training strategies and implement best uses for classroom lead training, web-based training, distance training, and other delivery methods.
Ensure regional training days are delivered to all global Design studios.
Act as liaison between users and software development teams. Ensure that Design’s needs are addressed by software vendors. Maintain tracking mechanisms for enhancement requests and reported bugs. Interface with vendor software developers to ensure bugs and enhancements are submitted, reviewed and implemented.
Work with developers to schedule demonstrations of new features.
Conduct research and development into new technologies which would benefit or improve the Design process. Keep current on latest trends and software applications.
Troubleshoot all errors and problems users experience with CAID tools. Track issues that are forwarded to software developers.
Ensure all new versions of CAID tools work and will function within Ford’s IT standards.
Install and test all software, debug problems, & confirm UI and processes work on new versions.
Technical Knowledge Requirements
Working knowledge of how CAID tools interface with Engineering tools such as Catia & ICEM.
Instructional design, development, implementation and evaluation of courses.
Experience in delivering training to diverse audiences.
World-class automotive design experience.
Familiar with the design of automotive interiors and exteriors.
Degree in Design or related topics, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years experience using AutoStudio, Maya, VRED
Excellent written and oral communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal and team skills
Project management abilities would be a plus
