Responsibilities

The IT Technician will support Windows 10, is responsible for staging computers, hardware deployment, software’s and Autodesk applications installation. They will provide remote support of technical issues via telephone and/or with remote support software, and perform diagnosis and repair of hardware/software. This position is responsible for research and support of Autodesk CAD Applications, recommends IT hardware, software, and services as well as training internal customers in the operation of software and hardware.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical training

  • 3 years of commercial experience supporting a Windows environment, via telephone and remote support tools.

  • Experience in supporting Autodesk CAD applications (ie. Autodesk Revit, NavisManager, Bentley Microstation, Trimble, & Navisworks Manage)

  • Thorough understanding of hardware technical specifications

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deal with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong networking capability

  • Ability to document problems and solutions in a concise and understandable format for use in our knowledgebase.

  • Must be able to safely lift IT equipment that can weigh up to 40 lbs.

  • Occasional travel required

Preferred:

  • Dell Hardware Certified

  • CompTIA A+ certification

  • Experience configuring and managing routers and firewalls
