Henry Ford Health System IT Solution Architect Associate in Detroit, Michigan
Solution architecture is the process of developing solutions based on predefined processes, guidelines and best practices with the objective that the developed solution fits within the enterprise architecture in terms of information architecture, system portfolios, integration requirements and many more. As an I.T. Solution Architect Associate, this position will be collaborating across teams to plan and design IT solutions and services. Your responsibilities will range from planning and project design, to maintaining the Enterprise Architecture Repository. The candidate will coordinate with functional Architects, I.T. Managers, Project Managers and Vendors to deliver solution designs to leadership for approval as part of the HFHS I.T. project lifecycle.
Bachelor's Degree or 10+ Years IT Experience.
Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) or similar programming language.
Five plus (5+) years required, eight (8) years preferred of strong experience in one of the following:
Strong knowledge of state-of-the art engineering approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems, and ongoing technical support.
Able to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with previous IT experience.
AND/OR Clinical experience includes:
Strong knowledge/experience in clinical workflows and processes.
Able to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with clinical experience integrated with IT solutions.
AND/OR Strong knowledge of clinical data and the mining & manipulation thereof (diagnoses codes, CPT codes, medications, HCPCS, etc.)
Must have a general understanding of all I.T. systems and the ability to speak to technical solutions with all levels of leadership.
Epic Certification in designated Application.
Technical Certifications including SQL preferred.
