Job Title: IT Senior Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer (Job Code: 1810929)table width="624"tbodytrtd width="505"Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and documenting new and/or enhancements to existing applications; develop custom applications using .NET development, jQuery and JavaScript libraries code which aligns with coding standards and can be validated through the code review processes; utilize ASP.NET, SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, WCF, REST API, TFS, SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS to perform duties; create SQL databases, T-SQL code and functions for web, SharePoint and Enterprise Search applications; building triggers to protect data integrity and creating views to simplify queries by other application developers; design, develop and deploy SSIS packages in conjunction with the SQL DBA teams using MS SQL Server Integration Services; ensure all SQL code produced is checked into the enterprise source control environment and properly documented, formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user defined needs; devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results; create SSRS reports using SQL native and SharePoint mode; configure and build SharePoint farms, service applications; troubleshoot application issues and data issues when they arise; develop, debug and fix web/windows/console/COM based applications using Microsoft technologies and tools; communicate solutions, issues, and risks directly with technical management or other responsible entities to ensure a fully integrated solution across multiple work streams; accountable for production support, including on-call duties in a 24x7 environment, as well as new projects; collaborate in requirements definition sessions to gain a general perspective on the business objectives or business problem that is to be addressed by the system; collaborate with business analysts to gain an understanding of functional requirements and to develop implementable technical designs; research and recommend alternative design solutions where appropriate; analyze technical requirements, design and develop prototype; work with the users/business analyst to fine tune the application and make recommendations; participate in peer/code/design reviews to verify that quality standards and functional/technical requirements are met; develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards; create test scenarios and develop test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated in to the system design; assist in analyzing testing results throughout the project; enhance existing systems, and participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews; support production systems by helping resolve problems, provide timely follow-up on problem report, and optimize performance and streamlining processes; and assist in coordinating developments tasks on projects, problem tickets, and provide support to other team membersLocation : 1 Ford Place, Detroit, Michigan 48202Salary: $102,656 per year/td/trtrtd width="505"Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);Training: NoneExperience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Computer Systems Analyst, as a Programmer/Analyst, as an IT Analyst, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation;/td/tr/tbody/table
