Kforce IT Risk Analyst in Detroit, Michigan

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Risk Analyst in Detroit, MI.Summary:The DLP Security Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily monitoring and/or maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. The main duties of the person in this role will include monitoring and responding to alerts that generate from the tool. This role will require day-to-day coordination and collaboration with a wide array of cybersecurity teams, and business units to enable DLP Operations and Response.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems and other technologies

  • Work with cybersecurity partners and lines of business to remediate events

  • Collect DLP related metrics

  • Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations

  • Respond to investigations referrals from partner teams

  • Make recommendations for enhancements to detection policies

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field

  • Cybersecurity Certification(s): CISSP, GSEC, GCIA, GCED, GMON, CEH, GDSA

  • 5 years of experience in one of more of the following: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Event Handling; Ability to analyze data and identify anomalies and suspicious behavior patterns; Strong understanding of user threat and data breach prevention; Cybersecurity related governance, risk & compliance

  • Technical Experience DLP solutions, such as McAfee DLP, Symantec DLP or Proofpoint

  • Experience drafting DLP policy, procedures, and technical documentation

  • Understanding of data classification tools, such as Titus or Varonis

  • Experience and understanding with IT Risk and data protection

  • Experience working with a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution
