Jefferson Ave., Detroit, MI 48226 Summary of Duties: Plan, organize, control, and lead assigned technical area and ensure its alignment with business objectives. Develop and Manage IT technology solutions to ensure successful fulfillment of end-user requirements, proper and accurate testing and sound implementation. Provide input to business technology planning. Ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value to the enterprise. Deliver solutions consistent within current context of overall architecture. Maintain and control budget, schedule, and resources. Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output. Support the user community in system and process matters/issues. Ensure efficient customer service to internal clients and external vendors. Establish measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals. Provide advice to the vendor relationship decision-making and contract development processes. Anticipate and analyze trends in technology while assessing the emerging technology's impacts in support of business objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and seven (7) years’ experience as a Technical Delivery Lead, Technology Consultant, Technical Architect, or related role. Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of college. Experience must include: five (5) years’ experience with managing, developing, and implementing claims processing solutions with business partners; claims processing-related areas including pricing and benefits; vendor integration; implementing and supporting an enterprise-wide application in both a mainframe and distributed environment; and designing integrated technical solutions to meet new product needs. Two (2) years’ experience with Member and Provider Servicing portals. PMP certified.
