What does a great Project Consultant do?
In this role you will work with a team of seasoned Engagement Managers in our Card Services BU supporting the definition of projects with our most complex clients. With a high degree of complexity and risk you will discover, define and document larger scale Debit Card & ATM projects by collaborating with clients and key business partners. These complex projects can span multiple business units and functional areas.
As a Project Consultant you can look forward to:
Preparing and scheduling the turnover from sales of our largest, most complex conversions and implementations.
Providing support to the sales team through presentations and discussions to clients/prospects regarding the conversion process, timeframes and expectations.
Preparing and coordinating the scheduling for the Project Kickoff process, defining the plan and conversion strategy and product/service implementation details.
Maintaining the standard kickoff presentation deck content and format, modifying as required for product/service enhancements and adhering to Fiserv Implementation Delivery standards.
Preparing the standard kickoff presentation deck that leads the Project Kick Off and Scoping discussion.
Defining and documenting the overall scope; identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts.
Developing strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with Client leadership and key internal partners.
Representing the needs of the client in specific product development initiatives that are associated with the project.
Maintaining debit product and solution subject matter expertise and educating the Engagement Managers.
Supporting Go-Live events offering expertise with trouble shooting conversion issues.
Ownership and maintenance of team SharePoint site and templates.
Additional assignments as required.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field. (equivalent exp)
5+ years’ working on large projects that are client facing.
Proficient with documenting project scope of large/complex projects.
Experience working in the Debit Card industry.
Deep product knowledge of Card Services debit card and ATM systems.
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically (approximately 5-10 times annually).
Ability to provide after-hours support for project implementations.
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Experience working with software implementations/conversions.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
