In this role, you will be responsible for providing Tier 1 support across a range of HR programs, policies and processes, and collaborating with appropriate business partners to resolve complex issues. Identify and fix complex queries within or outside the HR team. Compiles data, analyzes data and creates HR reports, including key HR metrics and trends such as turnover, survey results, or other requests. Performs administrative and project/program support for the department including colleague requests, training or assisting and/or managing colleague events.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
First point of contact to resolve Tier 1 (simple queries) and transactions related to core HR processes across all HR systems/tools, including but not limited to Workday, IBM Brass Ring, various time keeping systems and Think LP.
Acts as one of our in-house Subject Matter Experts (SME) for HR Systems. Provide expert advice to employees and managers on Tier 1 related issues. Direct complex queries and cases to the right team (e.g., HR Business Partner, HR Operations Tier 2, 2+ and COE Functional Experts).
Support management in the implementation, maintenance, updates and use of HR systems.
Enables self-service for employees and managers.
Facilitates workforce administration transactions requiring intervention.
Administer/support HR department projects and programs as directed and maintain documentation of events.
Plan, communicate and implement colleague engagement events, including service awards, picnics, recognition events, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related area.
Minimum of four (4) years in an HR systems or analytical role, with progressive experience in databases, research and compiling data. Working knowledge and experience in defining and monitoring Human Resource metrics.
Proficient experience in technology and HRIS Systems. (e.g., Workday, Learning Management Systems, ThinkLP, BrassRing or similar Applicant Tracking Systems)
Demonstrated technical, research and analytical aptitude, report writing and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and report findings.
Maintains required on-going training and/or certification for our HR systems.
Evidence of ability to guide projects, handle multiple concurrent projects prioritize current work.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, Lotus Notes, databases, Internet and Human Resource Information Systems. Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
Knowledge of government compliance for federal and state regulatory requirements. areas, such as FMLA, wage and hour requirements, etc.
