ECS performs projects that are up to several hundred million dollars in revenue, as well as thousands of small projects. The type of facilities built by ECS companies include hospitals, data centers, transportation and water infrastructure, power plants, hospitality/office/residential/education/institutional buildings, refineries, food processing plants, etc. ECS designs, installs and maintains high-performance mechanical and electrical systems that enable safe, effective, and high-quality lighting, electricity, security, plumbing, heating, cooling, and power generation. The Dynalectric team, located in McLean, VA, provides key support for its electrical and mechanical companies throughout the US. SUMMARY The ERP Business Analyst is a full-time position and acts as a liaison for all stakeholders in the technical documentation and implementation process. The Business Analyst ensures that consensus is reached on a project's scope and requirements. Clear verbal and written communication skills, and superior interpersonal, organizational and leadership abilities are critical in this position. The Business Analyst can expect to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, accounting knowledge, multitasking and decision-making skills are also important. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, delegate and execute tasks effectively are critical. The Business Analyst is based out of the ECS, Inc. office in McLean, VA, however other locations may be considered as long as the qualified Business Analyst is located near an airport. During critical phases of projects extended work hours will be required, which may include some weekends. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Serves as the lead technical writer of technical and business requirements documentation. This includes but is not limited to developing written documents within the required timeframe for ERP implementation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Analyzes technical and functional client requirements and manages those requirements through clear and precise documentation. This necessitates working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior leaders to collect, interpret and synthesize information needed to develop each written document. * Performs quality reviews to ensure each document is accurate. This includes but is not limited to including all critical concepts, utilizing writing style requirements and appropriate templates of both ECS and operating companies, and is written in a manner that is at the appropriate comprehension level for the intended audience. * Provides leadership with respect to document templates and repositories, integration issues including process mapping, business process re-engineering, additional software integrations, and change management. * Develops, maintains, and manages detailed project plans with tasks, deliverables, and resource allocation necessary for successful implementation. * Supports ERP system users by providing troubleshooting, report generating, SQL query writing and system analysis services - recommending business process improvements to leverage system features and functionality. * Manages project and
