- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
Knowledge of systems integration, systems design and service design
Experience with EA frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman's and Leading Practice
Exposure to business architecture practices
Experience with modeling languages like ArchiMate, UML, BPMN and DMN
5 years of performing systems design, implementation and administration
5 years of programming experience within a SOA or EDA paradigm
5 years of experience as a senior architect or in an equivalent role
The Enterprise Architect establishes the strategy within one of the key technical domains (service-oriented architecture, cloud and infrastructure architecture, security architecture or business architecture/business process management); collectively oversees the strategy, execution and operation of a given set of technical capabilities; and creates the road map to enable that vision.
Establish and maintain maturity models and road maps
Provide architectural guidance through the creation of blueprints
Create and evangelize best practices through communities of practice
Provide consultation services to delivery teams and solutions architecture
Develop and deliver training programs
Create and maintain value-driven landscape architectures
Foster consistent decision-making through the company architecture principles
Facilitate large meetings to understand the current state, communicate strategic vision and drive alignment
Perform ongoing research and assessment of new technologies
Establish technology and architectural standards
Define reference architecture(s)
Create architectural models and views
Mentor and provide guidance to other architects
Own technical strategy for the company
