End User Computing DirectorIn this critical role on AlixPartners' Corporate Technology team, you will have global responsibility for the stable, 24/7 operation of IT processes that are crucial to the productivity and satisfaction of our executive, back office and consulting users. This key leadership role manages a team of experienced professionals across several support functions and with broad responsibilities for delivery of our key user services.The End User Computing Director is a full-time role located in Southfield, Michigan and reports to the Global Infrastructure and Operations Director. Paid relocation is not available for this position. Key Responsibilities:•Manage the global delivery of Help Desk and other Technology Services to our consultants and internal users wherever they may be, including:••Global management of the End User Help Desk, Call Center, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 user support•Desktop O/S configuration, maintenance and testing•Office technology support, including conference room technology support efforts for the IT department.•Develop and implement best practice processes for Call Center, Help Desk and other in-scope services, including:•Escalation processes, metrics development and reporting, service level development and reporting, incident response and other key processes impacting our ability to operate a stable, 24/7 operation•Operations and Applied Engineering best practices such as "Lean," "Agile" and "Devops"•Develop and ensure governance of Operations and Applied Engineering processes and standards for the Help Desk, Call Center and related support groups.•Manage direct reports across Desktop Engineering, Global Call Center, Office Technology and End User Computing teams.•Additional responsibilities as identified. Qualifications/Requirements:•A Bachelor or Masters Degree in Information Systems or a related field is required.•A minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in leadership of an Operations or Infrastructure related organization. Experience in an established consulting firm as a consultant is a plus.•A certification in Program Management such as a PMP is preferred.•Must be process and detail oriented, but able to grasp the big picture.
