Hello Innovation is looking for a passionate, experienced Digital Fabricator to help lead programming and operation of our new Kuka Robot. In this role, you will be responsible for everything related to robotic engineering and digital fabrication, including owning the programming, safety, maintenance and repair of our machinery and equipment.
The ideal candidate will understand best practices in robotic engineering, including having proven experience providing support and expertise in developing and improving robotic processes, and will have outstanding mechanical, artistic and computer modeling experience.

Lead all hands-on production efforts surrounding our Kuka Robot, including programming and operating requirements
Collaborate with all project and creative team members to craft systems and build prototypes that will fulfill our design needs.
Create small and large scale 3 dimensional pieces using our robot
Provide expertise and support in designing, implementing and improving our robotic processes.
Own all maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot programming and mechanical aspects of our equipment on-site, at our Detroit or Pontiac locations
Proven CNC experience with a 3 axis (or greater) machine, including programming and operating knowledge.
Experience with related software programs, including Rhino 3D / Revit, ZBrush / Maya, Sketchup, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
Strong hands-on robotic programming, troubleshooting and mechanical experience
Outstanding artistic, computer modeling and mechanical experience
Proven critical thinking skills, and proven ability and eagerness to learn new technologies, systems and processes autonomously
Experience working on architectural or artistic endeavors, including the ability to easily read diagrams and plans
Excellent analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and deadlines at once
Ability to lift and move large scale materials up to 50 pounds
Degrees in engineering or robotics is a bonus!
