1 year of experience across three or more business continuity planning knowledge areas (e.g., business impact analysis, plan development and implementation, and incident response or crisis management)
1 year of experience creating workflows in Microsoft Excel or Visio
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related field
Technical certifications (CBCP or PCP)
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
The Business Continuity And Disaster Recovery Analyst creates, maintains and coordinates business continuity strategies to ensure continued operation of critical business processes during a disruption of any type.
Coordinate, conduct and document business continuity management plan exercises
Assist the business with business impact analysis and the definition of critical, time-sensitive functions
Design, develop and document business continuity management plans
Troubleshoot and support the business when a disruption occurs
Help enhance and standardize the business continuity process
Help develop the crisis management process as well as the incident command model
