Provide post-sale field technical support to Modine Building HVAC customers and channel partners. This will include product start-ups, warranty, quality, application and service issues. Feed relevant information back to the business and implement corrective action based on data analysis to reduce future service issues. uKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/u:ulliAs a Modine ambassador, travel to customer installation sites to investigate, troubleshoot, identify, and correct product and application problems. Train equipment owner personnel on proper maintenance schedules and procedures. Provide start-up, technical and service support and document all details of installation and application in appropriate systems/liliCommunicate with customers and channel partners to determine root cause of product problems and recommend corrective action. Capture all information related to quality, warranty, service, installation and application of Modine products in contact reporting system/liliAnalyze field service concerns, warranty and return goods claims and recommend corrective action or propose design improvements as appropriate/liliCommunicate field service concerns as well as proposed design changes to your supervisor./liliPopulate the division warranty information gathering system through dialogue with customers, contractors, engineers, and representatives to capture information relative to the installation and application of Modine products./liliEmploy Modineacirc;euro;trade;s MOS/MPS principles toward constant process improvement initiatives/liliParticipate in the preparation and presentation of service training programs to sales representatives, distributors, engineers and contractors/liliOther duties as assigned/li/uluESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/u:ulliExceptional ability to work effectively with limited supervision/liliMechanical aptitude with minimum of two years product reliability or service experience/liliExtensive HVAC technical and product knowledge/liliSound judgment to resolve product and application issues/liliDiplomacy, strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain composure under pressure/liliStrong brazing, electrical and HVAC troubleshooting and problem solving skills/liliComfort in being the acirc;euro;tilde;face of Modineacirc;euro;trade; while interacting with customers/liliSolid math and computer skills, including Office Suite of products - or aptitude to pick up quickly/liliFamiliarity with drawings, wiring diagrams and bills of material/liliAbility to obtain EPA refrigerant handling certification, universal certification preferred/liliClean driving record/li/uluREQUIREMENTS/u:ulliPosition Requirements: ulliA two year technical degree in HVAC or related discipline preferred (Substantial technical experience may substitute for a degree)/liliMinimum 1-2 years of product reliability or service experience required/liliMust have the ability to diplomatically resolve problems and project the appropriate company image while interacting with customers/liliPossess a working knowledge of product manufacturing, operation, and application/liliEPA Type II Certification required (Universal EPA preferred)/liliApplicable HVAC license preferred/liliUp to 85% travel Acirc;/li/ul/liliPhysical Requirements:ulliFIELD SERVICE (l
