ImplementationAssociate - Digital Manufacturing, ImplementationQualificationsBA/BS in Engineering (advanced degree preferred)3+ years hands-on experience in a high performance manufacturing environment with proven track record of driving performance improvement and change management programsLeadership experience in digital strategy deployment and use of automation in world class production facilitiesKnowledge required of industrial control systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC and/or other process control systems) as well as manufacturing execution systems, data historians, analytics or business intelligence (BI) toolsDemonstrated ability to develop and apply information-driven analytic approaches to solve critical business questions in a practical manner with tangible resultsSuperior problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentSkills to communicate complex ideas effectivelyComfort with extensive travel (4-5 days/week) Who You'll Work WithYou'll based in one of our offices in North America and will be working with McKinseyImplementation (MI) - a rapidly growing capability for our firm. As a member of MI, you'll work in a collaborativeculture, working closely with our client project teams solving their toughestproblems, providing end-to-end support to ensure the clients are able todeliver and sustain the full benefits of McKinsey's recommended change in theirbusiness.You will help clients thinkthrough how to adapt their operations in response to the continuing growth ofadvanced manufacturing technologies, including digital manufacturing.You'llleverage your deep knowledge and expertise in the application of advancedmanufacturing technology, including digital and big data, to improve end-to-endoperations from product development to manufacturing to service. What You'll DoYouwill work in small teams with colleagues and clients to build the strategies,capabilities, systems and processes needed to deliver bottom line results andensure those results are sustained.In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make ameaningful, hands-on contribution by managingprojects and progress withminimal supervision, including tracking metrics, handling complex analyses, andpreparing communications to report back to client and internalleadership.You will develop trust-based relationships with clients and beseen as a specialist in implementation and delivering results.You will help clients define theirtarget IT/OT technology stack, in order to enable the data, information flows,and analytics for their digital manufacturing transformation.
