Position Summary:

ABSC is seeking a Intelligence Analyst with a TS/SCI clearance to support the Army Futures Command in Detroit Arsenal, MI. The Army Futures Command (AFC) leads the Army's future force modernization enterprise. AFC assesses and integrates the future operational environment, emerging threats and technologies to develop and deliver concepts, requirements and future force designs, and supports the delivery of modernization solutions. On this project, you will support a team that provides full spectrum research and technology threat protection (RTP) activities, which include RTP engineering support, intelligence analysis, and intelligence security (foreign disclosure representatives) personnel services. The AFC’s geographically dispersed research laboratories and engineering centers are developing advanced technology that will form the heart of the Army’s future fighting force. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • The Contractor shall be familiar with Intelligence Community (IC) standards of analysis and production as well as requirements Management and IC query tools and databases.

  • The Contractor shall be capable of understanding and analyzing technical communications data and distilling information for non-technical production.

  • The Contractor shall present the results of analytic support and related meetings (other than re-occurring) through documented intelligence assessments, AAR/EXSUM, in a database, and as part of the monthly status report, IAW CDRL D004.

  • The Contractor shall have responsibility for producing broad and complex all-source intelligence relative to a specific complex country/region(s) military operational capabilities and potential threat issues and topics.

  • The Contractor shall be a technical threat expert and apply in-depth intelligence analytic skills to research, identify, assess, design, and report on highly complex technical and operational military capabilities, key military leadership, military policies, plans, strategies, intentions, and their impact on force developments.

  • The Contractor shall apply a wide range of threat intelligence analytic skills to monitor, assess, and report on steady state operations and planning requirements.

  • The Contractor shall be responsible for supporting ad-hoc cross-organization analytic projects. In conjunction with other senior analysts, develops and/or recommends complex analytic approaches to problems and situations for which data are incomplete, controversial, or which no precedents exist.

  • The Contractor shall coordinate support to planned and ongoing CPI assessments, critical functions assessments, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and countermeasures determinations.

  • The Contractor shall be able to research, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate extremely complex all-source intelligence data pertaining to order of battle, force structure, strategic and conventional military capabilities and key military leadership.

  • The Contractor shall have experience and be capable of executive level oral and written communication. Familiar with IC standards of analysis and production.

  • The Contractor shall advise Science and Technologies (S&T) and Testing and Evaluation (T&E) communities regarding threat capabilities for modeling IAW CDRL A001. Researches future adversary capabilities to drive next generation material solutions.

  • The Contractor shall assist in conducting briefings and debriefings of Research Development and Acquisition technology Subject Matter Experts (SME) which support various AFC projects, programs, and initiatives in secure work facilities IAW CDRL D004.

  • The Contractor shall conduct all-source threat intelligence analytic assessments, which will address foreign comparative analysis and the impacts on Army technologies and programs.

  • The Contractor shall assess the effectiveness of intelligence support to AFC MSCs.

  • The Contractor assessment includes the development of threat intelligence analyses and data requirements for submission into the U.S. intelligence network and concludes with integration of assessment products into AFC, CFT, and other MSCs planning and execution.

  • The Contractor assessment shall also identify how the AFC can improve the threat intelligence assessment process and provide recommendations for modifications IAW CDRL C001.

Experience Required for this Role:

  • 8 years of experience in the Intelligence Analyst field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree. Government will consider a substitute of experience and alternate degree for the education requirement.
