What you’ll be able to do:

  • Lead Theme Feasibility development anywhere from concept to production surface delivery, governing Design Master publication of Digital Experience assets

  • Liaison Studio Program development, Interior Components and Digital Experience

Potential area(s) of responsibility include:

  • Lead the Design deliverables for feasibility progression through the Studio Design feasibility process, with focus on Digital Experience (DEx) interface with Production Studios and VCSE partners (EESE, HMI, Interior PMT).

  • Co-create up-front HMI and DEx wireframe/interior solutions to enable design leadership. Support the balancing of functional and attribute trade-offs within the design feasibility progression.

  • Interface with program surface development and feasibility teams to ensure integration of functional feasibility and DEx requirements in support of the design and design feasibility progression.

  • Introduce and govern process of Design Master publication of Digital Experience assets following the approved FoMoCo data storage methods (e.g. TCE, etc.)

  • Introduce and coordinate change control utilizing approved Surface Data Management System (SDMS) tools and processes.

  • Provide a functional and appearance focus to enable creative solutions & alternatives to engineering and vehicle package issues in support of Design Leadership.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Aerospace

  • 1+ years of electrical hardware and/or electrical software experience (including co-op/internship/coursework)

OR

  • Associates degree

  • 3+ years of electrical hardware and/or electrical software experience (including co-op/internship/coursework)

Our preferred requirements:

  • Design articulate, self-initiated, CAD literate Engineer with knowledge of Design Studio procedures, and design feasibility progression. Familiar experience with digital assets and interior cockpit layout.

  • Strong familiarity with legislative requirements affecting the Design Feasibility process. Related to interior layout and DEx (Digital Experience) design

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and presenting to decision making forums.

  • Demonstrated understanding of feasibility tools and design studio feasibility progression. Familiarity with Fabrication and rapid-prototype request process

  • Co-create up-front HMI and DEx wireframe/interior solutions to enable design leadership. Support the balancing of functional and attribute trade-offs within the design feasibility progression.
