What you’ll be able to do:

The CF System verification team is seeking a seasoned and self-motivated engineer to join our team. In this role, the Test Engineer will work in a group of experienced test engineers to provide E2E verification of Ford's customer facing connected features.

  • Decomposition of feature documents, feature specifications and SPSS into test cases.

  • Design test plan that guarantees full coverage of happy path and corner-case scenarios for all features under the verification lead's responsibility.

  • Work closely with PO, PM, MA, in-vehicle and cloud SW development teams to ensure test suites are accurate and reflect the most up-to-date feature design requirement.

  • Track change requests at all levels of Ford's connected feature's system and modify the test requirements accordingly.

  • Set up and maintain complicated testing ecosystem that resembles the actual E2E system that Ford's customers will use.

  • Manage and coordinate testing in Prod and Pre-Prod environments.

  • Provide accurate reporting on SW and CF features health status using complex set of metrics.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Design Verification.

  • 5+ years of experience in Telematics E2E System.

  • 5+ years of experience in testing methodologies, Embedded Systems testing tools, lab and in-vehicle testing.

Our preferred requirements:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering or Physics

  • Working knowledge of Electronic Control Modules and Automotive Embedded Systems.

  • Working knowledge of testing and defect management tools e.g. JIRA, Test Rail, SP

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
