Job Description & Qualifications:
Enterprise Connectivity (EC) develops connectivity solutions for Ford Motor Company. Connectivity and Cloud Platform (CCD) leads the delivery of various products that enable features like command and control of the vehicle, over the air updates and feature management.
This is a Software Engineer position for Product Group Integration Team in Ford, which is under the CCD. The successful candidate will be working with a team to develop various tools, used for automating tasks. This position is responsible to develop and publish operational charts
indicating progress for the various teams. They will also be responsible for implementing the change requests that are required for the tools.
What you’ll be able to do:
Work closely with team members to understand their product vision, and break it down into an actionable backlog for development.
Work with the Product Group Integration Team (PGIT) and design automation solutions for the various tasks that come up.
Advocate for an iterative development approach, to develop and tools to manage the roster and support publishing operational metrics.
Focus on delivering value to our customers through careful and deliberate prioritization of desired outcomes
Identify success stories and share with the broader product team
Help innovate and iterate on agile PM processes always working to find ways to improve
The minimum requirements we seek:
3+ years of Software Engineering experience
3+ years of experience in designing and developing integration tools.
Our preferred requirements:
Previous success working with an Agile development team
Background in software development
Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others
Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, and business partners
Experience with Jira is a plus
Experience leading or supporting user research
Experience articulating and validating product hypotheses
Experience collaborating with engineers and designers as part of co-located teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience
Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
